I enjoy writing and reading about the history of the American West (cowboys, lawmen, outlaws, characters). I also have an abiding interest in Christianity being that I'm a Christian living in hope of the resurrection. These interests are reflected in the books and articles I've written.

1879 Map of Wichita-Wellington-Caldwell
This is part of an 1879 map of southern Kansas. It includes most of Sumner and Sedgwick Counties and the western parts of Butler and Cowley Counties. It includes the railroads that ran through this area at that time. This was the general area lawman Dan Jones frequented while in Kansas.
