Dan Jones' step son dies

Died – Barney, At his home in Caldwell, September 20th, 1880, of pneumonia, little Charley M., aged 6 years and 9 months. We regret to record the death of little Charlie Barney, the step son of Dan Jones. He had been suffering from pneumonia for about two weeks, until the 20th when death relieved him from his sufferings. A number of Mr. Jones’ friends attended the funeral, at the house, and followed the remains to its last resting place. The Rev. William Neal preached the funeral sermon.
